Les mentions qui se rapportent à l’impression, à la reproduction, au moulage, etc. d’une manifestation sous forme publiée font partie des mentions de fabrication.

Enregistrez la mention de fabrication en règle générale uniquement si vous souhaitez proposer un complément à un élément de lieu ou de nom non établi au sein de la mention de publication (voir <a class="ref" href="P613">Mention de publication</a>). Cet enregistrement est facultatif.

Hormis le cas décrit ci-dessus, renoncez généralement à l’enregistrement des mentions de fabrication pour faciliter l’échange de données, c’est-à-dire que vous ne créez pas de descriptions séparées pour des manifestations qui ne diffèrent que par la mention de fabrication. Si besoin, vous pouvez enregistrer des informations correspondantes dans les données locales. <br />Les bibliothèques avec des besoins particuliers (p. ex. bibliothèques régionales en charge du dépôt légal) peuvent toutefois déroger à cette règle.

Erfassen Sie die Herstellungsangabe in der Regel nur dann, wenn Sie damit eine Ergänzung zu einem nicht ermittelten Orts- oder Namenselement innerhalb der Veröffentlichungsangabe bieten möchten (siehe <a class="ref" href="P613">Veröffentlichungsangabe</a>). Diese Erfassung ist fakultativ.

Vom oben beschriebenen Fall abgesehen, verzichten Sie zur Erleichterung des Datentauschs in der Regel auf die Erfassung von Herstellungsangaben, d. h. es werden keine getrennten Beschreibungen für Manifestationen angelegt, die sich nur in der Herstellungsangabe unterscheiden. Bei Bedarf können Sie entsprechende Informationen in den Lokaldaten ablegen. <br />Bibliotheken mit besonderen Bedürfnissen (z. B. Pflichtexemplarbibliotheken) können jedoch von dieser Regelung abweichen.
