<i>Der Illustrierende Inhalt ist Standardelement. Als Illustrierender Inhalt kann generalisierend „Illustrationen“ oder genauer „Karte“ erfasst werden - das liegt im Ermessen des Katalogisierenden. Das gefaltete Blatt mit Karte ist kein Begleitmaterial, sondern im Buchblock eingebunden. Es wird bei der Angabe des Umfangs vernachlässigt. Wenn die Ressource sowohl aus gezählten als auch ungezählten Folgen von Seiten, Blättern oder Spalten besteht, vernachlässigen Sie die ungezählten Folgen, außer wenn eine ungezählte Folge einen substantiellen Teil der Ressource darstellt (siehe <a class="ref" href="P603">Umfang einer Manifestation</a>). Das Interpunktionszeichen zwischen der Bandbezeichnung und dem Titel des Teils ist in RDA nicht festgelegt. Im Beispiel wird gemäß ISBD ein Komma als Interpunktionszeichen benutzt.</i>

<i>Le contenu illustratif est un élément standard. Le terme général «illustrations» ou plus précis «carte» peut être enregistré comme contenu illustratif. Cela est laissé à la discrétion de l’agence catalographique. Le feuillet plié avec la carte n’est pas un matériel d’accompagnement, mais est intégré au corps de l’ouvrage. Cela est omis dans la mention de l’étendue. Lorsque la ressource se compose à la fois de suites numérotées et non numérotées de pages, de feuillets ou de colonnes, supprimez les suites non numérotées, sauf lorsque la suite non numérotée représente une partie substantielle de la ressource (voir <a class="ref" href="P603">Etendue d’une manifestation</a>). Le signe de ponctuation entre la désignation du volume et le titre de la partie n’est pas défini dans RDA. Par exemple, une virgule est utilisée comme signe de ponctuation selon ISBD.</i>
